Crew for a race? Jom, here’s how.
GoCrew is the app you’ll use at the race pack counter. Scan the runner, hand over their pack, done. Works on iPhone, iPad and Android.
How joining works
Four steps to your first scan.

Get the app
Download GoCrew on your phone and create your account.
- 02
Scan your station's QR
Your organiser shares a QR or link for your counter. Scan it and answer a few questions.
- 03
Wait for approval
The organiser approves you. Pull down to refresh and your event appears.
- 04
Start your shift
On the day, start your shift, check in with your crew lead, and scan your first runner.
For crew leads
Run your counter from your phone.
- Check crew in and out by scanning the QR on their phone. It renews every 30 seconds.
- Undo a hand-over when someone makes a mistake.
- See your event’s live totals in the Overview tab, if your organiser allows it.

Quick answers.
I applied. How do I know I'm approved?
Open GoCrew and pull down to refresh. Once approved, your event shows up with your station.
Do I need my NRIC?
No. NRIC is optional when you sign up.
I can't find a runner.
Try scanning again, or search for them. If they still don't show, send them to the help desk or your crew lead.
I gave the wrong item.
Tell your crew lead. They can undo a hand-over in the app, and the record is kept.
Is there a way to practise?
Yes. If your organiser turns on Test Mode for the briefing, you can scan practice runners before the real day starts.
